For the record

This site was set up to detail the judicial review of the decision to end the SFO investigation into BAE-Saudi arms deals.

Now the judicial review has finished, the site will be left online for the record. It is frozen as of February 2009.

For further information about corruption, visit The Corner House, or about BAE and the UK Government's arms dealing, visit CAAT.

Take action

  • Invite a speaker to your event
Are you planning an event or public meeting that could benefit from a speaker on the SFO investigation or wider issues, such as the arms trade, corruption in arms deals and the broader implications of this legal challenge? If so, let us know and we will do our best to provide a speaker. Contact parliamentary(at)caat·org·uk.

We want to ensure that as many people as possible hear about the campaign to reopen the investigation and to remove the clauses in the draft Constitutional Renewal Bill that would make our judicial review impossible in future.
  • Petition the Prime Minister
Sign our petition or write to your MP to urge the Government to remove the problematic clauses in the draft Constitutional Renewal bill (more information about the bill). These would allow politicians such as the Attorney General to halt criminal prosecutions and fraud investigations simply by citing "national security" and would stop any meaningful scrutiny by the courts or accountability to parliament of such actions.
